Does this new Version of Oracle Forms & Reports 12.2.1.4.0 extend the life support life?
ReplyDeleteHi,
Deleteno the lifetime support remains the same, as 12.2.1.4.0 is just a PatchSet (the Terminal PatchSet for 12.2.1.x).
For details on the lifetime support checkout the following PDF from Oracle: https://www.oracle.com/us/assets/lifetime-support-middleware-069163.pdf
Cheers
Dirk
How do you specify the browser for "java -jar frmsal.jar" to use for SSO? I've converted a forms config section that already works fine to fsal, and the client fails when it's supposed to be popping up the OAM authentication dialog in the client browser?
ReplyDeleteHi Scott,
Deletethe best is you will have a look on following websites / White Paper from Oracle:
Oracle Documentation Forms 12.2.1.4.0 for Forms Services using OAM:
https://docs.oracle.com/en/middleware/developer-tools/forms/12.2.1.4/working-forms/using-forms-services-oracle-access-manager.html
and the White Paper "Using and securing Applications running FSAL - Rev. 2":
https://www.oracle.com/a/tech/docs/fsal-usage-12214.pdf
With in the 2 documents you will find the necessary information.
Cheers
